Keep Washington Safe
PROTECT THE FLOCK NOT THE PREDATOR
A normally quiet town, Tenino, Washington is known for standing together in times of difficulty. This Blog is dedicated to the residents of Tenino and to help others in Washington State in the fight for public safety when it comes to Sexually Violent Predators.
On January 12, 2023, a small group of community members attended a "meet and greet" meeting hosted by Angela Rinaldo, the CEO of Supreme Living, LLC—a for profit company looking to open a facility to house 5-6 Sexually Violent Predators in a single family home in rural Washington.
The proposed property is adjacent to an active ski lake that host clinics, tournaments, overnight camps, family reunions, birthday parties all summer long. There is also no secure internet in the area to monitor the SVPs, no fence to keep the neighbors safe, and no security system either.
The location, the lack of security, the lack of honesty and compliance with state law and county codes make this a recipe for disaster.
For now, we have put a pause on any forward movement for the facility to open, yet there is a lot of work ahead.
Our group is co-lead by Sarah Fox, Kendahl Tuttle and Kerri Jeter. You can check in here regularly for updates and correct information about the situation.
Our Goal is to not allow SVPs to live in unsecure, rural locations that threaten the community around them. We are on a mission to Keep Washington Safe and to ensure other communities are aware of the public safety risk that makes our backyards unsafe.
