Okay folks, you are here because you want to exercise your constitutional rights and have your voice be heard in the legislative process. Whether this is your first time or you are a seasoned professional, we have an easy to follow process to ensure the Community Safety, Justice and Reentry Committee schedule a hearing on HB 1734 and HB 21751.
Here are the steps to follow:
1. Prepare a statement that you want to share about the request you are making (see script below)
2. Call or Email the people listed below the Chairman of the Board and other committee members of The Community Safety, Justice & Reentry Committee.
3. Be prepare to testify in front of the committee when they schedule the Hearing. (More will be published when we get dates.)

I hope this email finds you in good health and spirits. I am writing to respectfully request a hearing for House Bills 1751 and 1734. These bills have the potential to make a significant impact on the safe release of Sexually Violent Predators and Less Restrictive Alternatives and I believe it is important for the Committee to consider its implications and gather feedback from all stakeholders.
The purpose of the bill is to ensure public safety is the top priory when making changes to laws that pertain to SVPs. I believe that this bill will bring about positive change for all Washingtonians and I would be honored to have the opportunity to present at the hearing before the Committee.
